 All Aboard for PD2014

Pembroke Dock's oldest established business Silcox Coaches is playing a major part in promoting the town's eagerly anticipated bicentenary celebrations next year. For the next few month's the company's smart fleet of  74 red and cream buses will be displaying posters for the town's 2014 celebrations as they travel throughout the county. The company founded by Mr William Luther Silcox has been a part of the town's history since 1882 offering various forms of transport including bikes, cars, a taxi service, bus service and coach hire.  For many Pembroke Dock residents Silcox coaches are associated with happy memories of school trips, pantomine visits and sunday school outings, it is therefore  appropriate that the company should be taking part in the recruitment drive for volunteers to help make Pembroke Dock 2014 an event to remember. Director Mr Jason Silcox did not hesitate when asked if the company would give their support.  He explained "the town's history and ours is intertwined and we are very happy to help."
