34. PATER HALL The centre of Town's civic, entertainment and cultural activities. Consisting of four differing sized rooms varying from the main hall with its sprung dance floor and stage. It is the Town's major entertainment centre with concert seating for 255 persons, It also has an entertainment/lecture room with seating for 50 persons, The council chamber apart from its use for Town Council meetings is an ideal conference/business meeting room with coffee and tea making facilities. At the southern end of the Pater Hall entered from Lewis Street is a general purpose meeting room with seating for 40 persons, which also incorporates basic kitchen facilities. The building was rebuilt on the site of the Temperance Hall which was a casualty of German bombing raids on Pembroke Dock in World War Two. |
