31. ST. JOHN'S WAR MEMORIAL
While the Town's annual memorial service takes place in St, John's Church, the wreath laying ceremony takes place at the memorial. The western side of the memorial reads:

THIS MEMORIAL IS DEDICATED
BY EX-SERVICEMEN WIDOWS AND DEPENDENTS
OF THIS DISTRICT
JULY.30.1921.

On the eastern side the inscription reads:

LET THOSE WHO COME AFTER
SEE TO IT
THAT THEIR NAMES ARE NOT FORGOTTEN
