18. SOUTH WEST GUN TOWER

Smaller than the Front Street Gun Tower it was served by a single circular stairway. It was armed by a single Blomefield 32 pdr. and three 12 pdr. Howitzers. It is currently under private ownership. The area adjacent to the Tower offers free parking and an excellent view of the Haven.
