HMS Pembroke arrives in the Port of Pembroke (Dock) to tie up at Carr Jetty for her 3 day stay here in Pembrokeshire..,..lets hope her officers and crew have an enjoyable stay...these few shots of the arrival of HMS Pembroke were taken from the Gun Tower Museum, Front Street looking West...we took lots, a disk of the visit will be made available. A wet and windy day....but nothing could stop the fun.....after the Captain of HMS Pembroke Lieutenant Commander S J Ryan officially opened the Pembroke Festival, both councils were called to order to pass the resolution to grant the freedom of both Pembroke and Pembroke Dock to HMS Pembroke. HMS Pembroke exercise there right of privilege, honour and distinction henceforth and for ever of marching through the streets of Pembroke and Pembroke Dock on all ceremonial occasions with bayonets fixed, colours flying, drums beating and bands playing

A civic luncheon sponsored by Texaco will be held for representatives of HMS Pembroke, Pembroke Dock and Pembroke at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel on Sunday 3rd September 2006
