Pembroke Dock and Pembroke are together welcoming the captain and crew of HMS Pembroke to receive the freedom of both towns. HMS Pembroke (Duty permitting) will arrive in the Royal Dockyard on Thursday 31st August 2006.

The celebrations will commence on Saturday 2nd  September 2006
 There the ships company from HMS Pembroke will march through Pembroke Town to St Michaels Church for a service ........(awaiting update)

After lunch the parade will reform in Albion Square. Led by Royal Marines Band the ships company will exercise their right of entry and thereby the privilege, honour and distinction henceforth and for ever of marching through the streets of Pembroke Dock on all ceremonial occasions with bayonets fixed, colours flying, drums beating and bands playing.

The route will be via Bush Street, Law Street, Dimond Street, to Lower Meyrick Street. The ships company will be supported in the parade by the Pembroke Borough Silver Band and representatives of the youth and community groups of Pembroke Dock.

The salute will be taken by the Mayor on the steps of the Pater Hall. This will be followed by an address to the parade by the Mayor in Lower Meyrick Street.

The day will end with a Sunset Service, dockside at 1830hrs 

HMS Pembroke will be open to the public on Sunday 3rd September 2006 (time to be confirmed).

A civic luncheon sponsored by Texaco will be held for representatives of HMS Pembroke, Pembroke Dock and Pembroke at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel on Sunday 3rd September 2006
