As the current Deputy Mayor, Cllr George is lining up for what will be her eighth year as mayor in 2009/2010.  As the only remaining and continuously serving original member of the Town Council her voice is listened to with respect.  She chairs the Tourism committee and sits on the Twinning committee, is a school Governor  for Pembroke Dock Community school and a trustee of the Pater Hall Community Trust and trustee of the town band.
