Town Council meetings
All meetings start at 6.30 pm on a Thursday and there are usually three weeks between meetings. Members of the public may raise questions to the council for a ten minute session at the start of any meeting. Occasionally there may be a short presentation by a guest speaker on matters relating to the town. All minutes are published on this website following approval of them at the following meeting.
Private and Confidential minutes
Minutes from Private and Confidential meetings are not published, however a copy of the minutes are produced with all sensitive and/or staff information removed. Minutes published show a brief outline of discussions with any resolutions agreed by Council members.

Donations
Applications from groups and societies are discussed on a quarterly basis. Requests from individuals are brought forward to any meeting if the Town Clerk decides there are time constraints applying to that application. Application formsare available from the Town Clerk or via this website in the Finance Section under Section 137 Payments.
